DXP’s Made in the USA Pumps Got Our Customer Out of a Pinch QUICKLY!

Since pipeline demand has been low recently, it was a good time for a pipeline customer to do some special projects. Since the project would require moving hydrocarbons, they needed to consider steel pump solutions with 300-pound flanges.

DXP recommended a PumpWorks ANSI package and presented the customer with a quote. After going through the specifications of the engineering, the bid for this ANSI pump was approved by the customer.

By this time, the window of opportunity for this project was narrowing. The DXP area manager worked closely with the PumpWorks manufacturing team to coordinate a quick delivery of the pump, motor, and seal to the local DXP pump service shop. DXP’s certified pump service professionals assembled the pump, motor, and seal to the requirements of the customer as soon as it arrived.

The skid was delivered to the customer 5 days after receiving the order and configurations for the project. Talk about great teamwork and record timing!
