Our horizontal pump (see the PumpWorks HP-Plus) is an expertly engineered, high pressure, horizontal multi-stage centrifugal pump unit. Built to pump condensate, glycol, amine, iodine, LNG, oil, water and saltwater in volumes up to 50,000 BPD and pressures up to 6000 PSI. Our horizontal pump offers a less expensive, reliable, field-friendly alternative to conventional surface pumping units. The entire pumping unit is fabricated, assembled and individually tested by trained personnel, here in the USA.
Horizontal Multi-Stage Centrifugal Pumps
This horizontal pump was designed with reliability and cost reduction in mind. Our horizontal pumping systems can produce a full range of volumes and pressures. The unit offers staging configuration to pump everything from fresh water to the most aggressive of fluids. Each pump is individually assembled by trained personnel and then fully tested to industry API 11S2 standards.
Pump Thrust Chambers
The horizontal pumping unit’s thrust chambers are heavy duty, bi-rotational with standard API-682 seal chamber and rear pullout feature for easy maintenance. Alternate thrust chamber designs to meet your horizontal centrifugal pump specifications are also available including non-rear pullout and closed coupled designs depending on the application and/or customer preference. The unit offers multiple sized thrust chambers, sized appropriately and competitively, covering the full range of our product offering, maximizing pump thrust protection and minimizing customer expense.
Horizontal Pump Skid Design Features and Benefits
The skid design for our horizontal surface pumping systems is the result of a century’s worth of engineering experience and technically advanced SOLIDWORKS Simulation design software. This combination of fabrication and engineering experience coupled with modern finite element analysis that SOLIDWORKS Simulation brings has allowed us to develop a skid design with superior strength, integrity and unsurpassed ease of installation. Each pump skid is built with design benefits like adjustable V-shaped pump cradles, adjustable discharge flange supports, adjustable motor pads for larger motor frames, environmentally friendly intake and discharge drip pans, and bolt-on skid extension to accommodate longer pump lengths. In addition, our in-house fabrication group offers custom skid design options to meet most customer’s available piping and space limitations.
Horizontal Pump System Surface Controllers and Instrumentation
We offer multiple control options such as across the line and soft-start controllers or Variable Speed Drive controllers to meet our customer’s needs. For unit monitoring, our unit can provide vibration sensors, flow meters, oil-level and temperature controllers all tied to a common junction box. For those customers who are looking for continuous monitoring of data through cloud transmission we offer our exclusive proactive “Predict-Plus” and “Predict-Cloud” so each user can customize alarm/alert levels, text/email call out lists and, general registration information.
